KELTEC Shipping Policy

KELTEC is committed to providing fast, reliable shipping for our customers. This shipping policy outlines estimated ship times, available shipping methods, order fulfillment options, inventory availability, and additional shipping services.

Standard Shipping Lead Times

In-stock orders typically ship within 1–2 business days from order placement.

KELTEC will provide Estimated Ship Dates on Sales Order Confirmations.

If an item is out of stock, KELTEC will provide an estimated ship date to help guide expected availability. Estimated ship dates are provided for planning purposes and are subject to change based on inventory, production, supplier availability, and order volume.

Expedited and Same-Day Shipping Requests

Expedited or same-day shipping may be available by request only.

Expedited and same-day shipping requests are not guaranteed.

Website Shipping Options

KELTEC offers three primary shipping services through our website:

·         KELTEC Managed Shipping — Prepay & Add

·         Collect Shipping

·         Third-Party Billing

KELTEC Managed Shipping — Prepay & Add

With KELTEC Managed Shipping, KELTEC selects the carrier and shipping method for your order. Shipping charges are added to your invoice or order total.

KELTEC uses FedEx for parcel shipments.

For parcel shipments, customers can select the express shipping options: Overnight, Two Business Days, or Three Business Days. Additional charges apply to these express shipping options. For additional express shipping options, such as early AM delivery or Saturday delivery, please contact your customer service representative.

Most standard orders totaling under 100 lbs. will ship by parcel service. Orders over 100 lbs. will typically ship via LTL freight with carriers selected by KELTEC.

For freight shipments, customers can select Liftgate Required or Residential Delivery if these options apply to their order. KELTEC reserves the right to charge customers for additional delivery services, including liftgate or residential delivery, if those services are required but were not selected at the time of order.

Collect Shipping

Collect shipping allows customers to ship using their own carrier account.

Both FedEx and UPS are available through collect shipping.

KELTEC recommends contacting Customer Service to add your collect account number to your KELTEC account profile for future orders.

Entering an incorrect collect shipping account number may delay shipment of your order.

Third-Party Billing

Third-party billing allows shipping charges to be billed to an approved third-party carrier account.

Entering an incorrect third-party billing account number may delay shipment of your order.

Additional Shipping Services

The following shipping services are not available directly through the website:

·         Ex Works

·         Destination

·         Will Call

·         Customer-Supplied Labels

·         Other special shipping arrangements

Shipping Account Profiles

To help avoid delays, KELTEC recommends contacting Customer Service to have your collect account numbers added to your KELTEC shipping profile. This helps ensure your shipping information is accurate and available for future orders.

Distribution Centers and Shipping Locations

KELTEC operates distribution centers in:

Hudson, Ohio — Cleveland area

Houston, Texas

Ontario, California

KELTEC will determine the shipping location for each order. Factors that may impact this decision include available inventory, shipping destination, order size, carrier availability, and whether the order is set to ship partial or ship complete.

KELTEC no longer allows shipping location selection by product on its website.

Estimated transit times may vary based on shipping origin, destination, carrier service level, and carrier network conditions. Please refer to FedEx’s website for the most up-to-date service maps and estimated delivery times. (ADD LINK TO FEDEX’S Service Map)

Order Fulfillment Preference

KELTEC offers two order fulfillment preferences:

·         Ship Partial

·         Ship Complete

Ship Partial

KELTEC’s default order fulfillment preference is Ship Partial.

This means KELTEC may ship all or part of your order at the earliest available opportunity. Partial orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

KELTEC will charge only one shipping fee for the order. Partial shipments will not result in additional shipping charges.

KELTEC recommends selecting Ship Partial for all time-sensitive orders.

Ship Complete

If your order is marked Ship Complete, your order will ship when all products on the order are available.

Please note that inventory is not reserved at the time of order placement. Products that are in stock at the time of order may become unavailable before the full order is ready to ship.

Inventory Availability

The inventory shown on KELTEC’s website is updated in real time, but it does not guarantee availability.

Inventory is allocated to orders on a first-come, first-served basis. Inventory levels may change before your order is processed and confirmed.

Your reserved order quantity will be communicated on your final order confirmation.

If inventory is unavailable for all items on your order, KELTEC will provide an estimated ship date for the remaining items. Estimated ship dates are subject to change.

Shipping Delays

Shipment timing may be impacted by inventory availability, order volume, carrier delays, weather events, supplier delays, production schedules, or other factors outside of KELTEC’s control.

KELTEC will make every effort to provide timely updates when shipment timing changes.
